Step 2 — Create your first job

Every role starts with a job. Paste the ad and the AI team builds the job spec — or enter the details yourself if there's no ad to work from.

Open the Add Job flow
From your jobs list, click Add Job and choose the AI path — paste the ad text, or give it the job URL.

The AI reads the ad
Expera reads the ad like a recruiter: separates the non-negotiables from the wishlist, calibrates the real level of the role, and profiles the employer.

Review the job spec
You get the extracted requirements, screening gates, and role level. Adjust anything that doesn't match your read of the role — you're in charge.

What the AI extracts

  • Hard requirements. The things a candidate genuinely can't be missing — these become screening gates.
  • Nice-to-haves. Listed in the ad, but not dealbreakers. The AI knows the difference.
  • Real level and seniority. "Senior" means different things at different companies. The AI calibrates against the employer's context.
